The first Gran Turismo made its debut in 1997 for the Playstation 1 and quickly became one of the top-selling racing games around, despite its six-year hiatus the 5th installment of the ultimate racing simulation is nearby. But before you put on your racing helmet, check out what Sony has in store for all of you GT fans out there. For the first time in Gran Turismo history, vehicles will take visible damage along with the debut of NASCAR and WRC racing to the series. Gran Turismo 5 ($59.99) will also feature multiple online playing modes with up to 16 players so you and your band of gear heads can tear up over 20 tracks with about 1,000 different cars.
