Swiss watch maker Bell&Ross was founded in 1993 by Bruno Belamich and Carlos A. Rosillo two longtime friends that wanted to make watches with the idea that function shapes form. They started by collaborating with renowned manufacturer Sinn, and started making watches that were essentially reissued Sinn movements. But once they got their feet wet they started making some of the worlds best watches. Their Hydromax model holds the world underwater record for 11,000 meters and their Space1 model became the first automatic chronograph to be successfully worn in space. Their partnership with Sinn ended in 2002 but what they learned from the partnership remains apparent in their quality time pieces.
